Fred Hall is the President of United Shipping Lines. He entered the import/export business working for a large independent firm in Dallas in 1969. In 1970, he was sent to Tulsa to manage the firm’s Tulsa branch, and ultimately opened another branch in Oklahoma City and was promoted to Vice President. Returning to Dallas in 1977, he managed the firm’s Dallas headquarters while working with the President to grow the company’s business. In 1980 Fred Hall & Associates was formed as an import/export consulting firm, working with importers and exports on buying practices, cargo insurance, letters of credit, and legal requirements. In 1983, Fred Hall & Associates, Inc. became a full service Customs broker and international freight forwarder, and continues to service clients today in Dallas/Ft. Worth, the North Texas and Oklahoma areas.
